BIOGRAFIE

ABOUT

When I was six years old, I decided I wanted to become queen of the night one day. It wasn't until later
that I understood that this meant I had to become a singer. But once I got the concept, there was no
stopping me and I haven't stopped to this very day. Granted I have not sung queen of the night (yet), but I
have spread my creative wings quite far. From Mozart to Honegger, from Händel to Strauss and from Cole
Porter to Cantieni, my passion for singing and beeing on stage has only grown. The concept of sticking to
one thing has never sat well with me. I firmly believe that by widening my horizons I add layers and
texture to all the styles of music I perform. The more I can mix it up, the happier I get.
I come from a tiny mountain village in Switzerland and I grew up with traditional rumantsch music. Also
cheese. Lots of it. I'm still waiting to be a cheesmaker in an opera one day. But until then, I'm happy being
the maid, or any other kind of maintanence staff and keep on finding new things to learn. Currently I'm competing with my baby-son in "who can scream louder". He wins every time.

MAN SELBER

Wenn wir über uns selber springen,
Werden uns alle Pläne gelingen. -
Hopla!

Irgendwo anders hingehen,
Spiegel zertrümmern und sich umsehen.
